Gas cap/Engine light on....

Asked by janmoulds Jul 31, 2016 at 03:54 PM about the 2010 Jeep Wrangler

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Gas cap has been replaced with a "jeep" cap... First the dealership said it was
sensor of some type and then "up graded" their repair plan to a new gas
tank? For around 950.00... How common is this?  jan

Common for dealers to "upgrade" anyone they can whats the DTC code On an old vehicle like a 2010 Wrangler a new fuel tank can cost as much as $150 so you can image..a sensor can easily cost $800 dollars too? I think you get it " REPAIR PLAN " wow
