is there a way to rule out water pump on 92 accord w/o taking off timing cover?

According to the manual it says you need to remove the timing belt. -check that the water pump pulley turns counter clockwise. -check for signs of seal leakage. (weeping from the bleed hole is normal) I would probably first do a pressure test on the system. Good luck.
