1966 Tail/Brake light

Asked by hms09 Feb 03, 2014 at 06:19 PM about the 1966 Ford Fairlane

Question type: General

My grandson has been stopped 3 times by police in his 66 Fairlane because the center
of the tail/brake light comes on when he brakes. This center part of the lens is clear
and its driving the cops mad. Is this normal for this center clear light to come on when
braking?

Thanks

so what you're telling us is this tail light is defective....because the "blockers" to block the back-up lights are rotted away? we will have to get some legitimate replacements then...no?~
