What owners say
"Overall, owners of the 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser are enthusiastic about its rugged design, off-road capabilities, and solid build quality. Many highlight its fun driving experience and reliable performance, especially for outdoor adventures. However, some owners express concerns regarding gas mileage and the lack of modern features like a backup camera or Bluetooth. A few also mention visibility issues due to the vehicle's design, which can be a drawback for driving in urban areas."
Great car, alittle lower than expected but you can always add to it.
January 24, 2025240hp V6, 4x4 6speed manual transmission, subwoofer, parking assist, rear differential lock, A-trac control, 115V 400W three way outlet, water proof seats, tinted rear glass, power mirrors, roof rack, running boards, tire cover, 6 cd changer, AC, all terrain mats, 17" Alloy Wheels, Cruise control
April 7, 2008The V6 is peppy and the handling is good. The rugged design allows for off road even if it's only occasional. The quality is there as one would expect from Toyota. The gas mileage is good for an SUV and it is nice to sit up high as you drive for a better view in traffic. The cargo rack on the top is useful and the towing package makes it a good light work vehicle.

October 14, 2013I love the FJ cruiser. They have decent power, the Manual Trans. is a beauty to drive and the 4wd system is flawless (IMO).
January 12, 2008Was looking for months at the Yukon, Suburban and Toyota Fj. Finally settled on an 2007 Toyota Fj and have NO regrets. Love it!
September 11, 2020This vehicle is very comfortable to drive long distances, short commutes, for everything. The height of the vehicle is excellent, and the compact size is perfect for having an SUV experience without the huge vehicle that usually goes with it. The doors are a pain for the older kids, but when they were little it was a priceless feature as they could not get out of the car on their own. I have loved this vehicle and find it to be the best I've ever owned.
June 14, 2014I love this vehicle it has done anything and everything I have asked of it. It is an SUV that is a Truck at heart not a mini van or a family seden. The 4x4 capability is great and it will comfortably tow the same loads as a small V8 half ton truck. Fuel miliage is ok fetching about 500km a tank (72L) on mixed driving. There is no mistaking this vehicle for any other it has a very unique look and draws a lott of attention. I took a chance buying a introductory model as it was possible that I would be running into recalls and problems that had not been seen before. This vehicle has been rock solid and with 30K on it the first year has not been in for anything more than the maintenance schedule.
August 7, 2008Great vehicle! Have not had one bit of trouble, have only had to change the oil.
June 19, 2008I absolutely love the FJ cruiser. Its very simple on the inside, feature wise, but is rock solid all the way around. If you want a vehicle thats going to last forever and hold its value than look no further.
December 26, 2022This car is awesome, 4 wheel drive, looks like new drives like new with 180k miles on it. Interior is great. Installed backup camera and updated stereo now perfect
