This LS is a new Galant variation this year, combining the upscale trim finish with a more efficient four-cylinder engine. This 2.4 liter mill provides 145 horsepower and 155 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy is estimated at 21/28 mpg.
The LS adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a power sunroof, alloy wheels and a premium Infinity sound system. Leather upholstery and a power driver's seat is now optional on this trim.

The LS V-6 is a new trim designation this year, along this model is not new. The LS V-6 retronym addresses the addition of a new four cylinder LS. The LS models add alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a power sunroof and a premium Infinity sound system. The V-6 also comes with ABS and 16-inch tires.
The leather upholstery and power driver's seat have been deleted from the standard features roster this year, but both are still available as options.
